Mrs. Susan Hartwig

"We have found…Jesus!  Come and see."  This is what the disciple Philip said to Nathanael in John 1:45-46.  It is my prayer that each Kindergarten child of Grace Lutheran School learns and shares these special words.

My name is Susan Hartwig.  My childhood years were spent in Los Angeles, CA, where, being born & raised, I received both a public school and a Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod elementary level education.

My high school/college years involved attending Martin Luther Academy and later, on the same campus, Doctor Martin Luther College, both in New Ulm, MN.

I happily share my personal experience of being married for over 30 years, and of having raised three children.  I now live in Vancouver, WA.

It has truly been a blessing for me to serve Grace Lutheran School as its Kindergarten teacher for the last 20 years.  The Kindergarten curriculum is surrounded by the Word of God with academic emphasis on reading, math, music, geography and science.
