Mr. Mark Leitzke
My name is Mark Leitzke. I primarily teach upper grades, and I also serve as the school administrator. I hold a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education from Dr. Martin Luther College, plus have attended many workshops, seminars and leadership conferences.
I have served the Wisconsin Synod Lutheran school system since 1979. After graduating I was assigned to Trinity Lutheran School in Marinette, Wisconsin. There I served as the 5th and 6th grades teacher and coach, and directed music, drama and art for the upper grades.
In 1988 I moved to Sauk Rapids, MN, where I served as teacher and principal of a one room school. In 1993 I moved to St. James, MN where I served as principal and upper grades teacher. The Lord led me to move to Sparta, Wisconsin in 1998 where I served in the same capacity.
I have been blessed to serve here at Grace Lutheran School since 2002 when I moved here from Wisconsin with my wife, Janet, and my two daughters and two sons.
I would love to have the opportunity to talk about Christian education and give you a tour of our school. If I can be of any assistance, please contact me at the contact information provided for our school.
